Agreement to these Terms
Once these Terms become effective, accessing or using Payday Forecast means that you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site. The site is intended for people who can legally agree to these Terms.
Informational tool, not professional advice
Payday Forecast and its Paycheck Budget Calculator provide general information and an educational calculation framework. They do not provide financial, legal, tax, credit, accounting, or investment advice. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances.
Your information and assumptions
Results depend on the balances, dates, amounts, schedules, pending status, everyday spending, forecast period, and buffer you enter or select. Payday Forecast cannot verify that this information is complete, current, or correct. The calculator simplifies real account activity and cannot predict every hold, fee, delay, posting rule, or transaction.
You are responsible for reviewing your inputs and assumptions and confirming actual balances, pending activity, pay dates, bills, and scheduled transactions with the relevant financial institution or provider before making a financial decision.
No guarantee of financial results
A forecast, projected low point, buffer result, or spending-room estimate does not guarantee a future balance, prevent an overdraft, reserve funds, move money, or stop a transaction. Actual results may differ because of missing activity, holds, fees, posting order, changed dates or amounts, input errors, or events outside the forecast period.
Browser storage and Excel exports
A saved plan may be stored in your browser as described in the Privacy Policy. Browser storage may be unavailable, cleared, or lost. Payday Forecast does not promise backup, recovery, synchronization, or uninterrupted retention.
Downloaded workbooks are snapshots created from the information available when you export them and may contain sensitive financial information. You are responsible for reviewing, securing, storing, and sharing those files. Editing a workbook does not update your browser plan, and clearing the browser plan does not delete a downloaded file.
Acceptable use
You may use Payday Forecast for lawful personal and informational purposes. You must not disrupt or overload the site, bypass access or security controls, gain unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, violate the law or another person’s rights, misrepresent an affiliation with Payday Forecast, or use automated activity that materially interferes with the site, its host, or other visitors.
Intellectual property
The Payday Forecast name, original site content, graphics, interface, and software may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms give you permission to use the site for its intended personal and informational purpose; they do not transfer ownership of those materials. Open-source and third-party components remain subject to their applicable licenses. Except as permitted by law or with written permission, you may not copy, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from Payday Forecast’s original materials.
Third-party services and links
The site is hosted by Netlify and uses Google Analytics 4 only as described in the Privacy Policy. Spreadsheet applications and websites reached through external links are operated by others under their own terms and privacy practices. Payday Forecast does not control those services, and linking to one does not endorse its advice, products, or financial results.
Availability and changes
Payday Forecast may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site. The site, calculator, content, and export may contain errors or become unavailable. No uninterrupted access, error-free operation, permanent feature set, or permanent export availability is promised.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Payday Forecast is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Payday Forecast will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost data, profits, savings, or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the site or your reliance on a forecast or export. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated when the service or applicable requirements change. The revised Terms will identify their effective date. Continued use after revised Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
